The Geeky Medics collection of OSCE flashcards containsΒ over 2500 cards covering a broad range of topics relevant to clinical examination, history taking and data interpretation (e.g. ECG interpretation flashcards). These cards have been created to help you both develop and refine your clinical skills.
Topics covered include:
- Background knowledge (e.g. aetiology, relevant anatomy)
- Clinical examination technique
- Clinical signs (including image examples)
- Further assessments and investigations (i.e. what to suggest after examining a patient)
- History taking
- Data interpretation (e.g. ECG, ABG)
- Clinical procedures (e.g. how to measure blood pressure)
Our flashcard platform allows you to review flashcards easily, bookmark those cards most relevant to you and even add your own notes to flashcards for future review.
Flashcard examples
Here are a few examples of the OSCE flashcards contained in our collection of over 2500 cards. ποΈ
Review flashcards by deck
We’ve arranged our OSCE flashcard collection into topic-based decks, allowing you to quickly review a range of cards relevant to a specific category (e.g. neurological examination).
Review flashcards by tag
You can also build a dynamic deck of flashcards based on specific topic tags (e.g. all cards tagged with ‘cardiovascular examination’ or all tags relevant to ‘aortic stenosis’).
Review flashcards by bookmark
You can also generate a dynamic flashcard deck from cards you’ve previously bookmarked.
Spaced repetition
Take advantage of our spaced repetition mode to increase your long-term retention of knowledge by surfacing cards you find most challenging more frequently than those you’ve already mastered.
Add your own notes
You can also easily add your own notes to any flashcard, which will appear whenever you review the card in the future.
